meet our new attack baseball director:
My name is Corey Ebert and I am the new Avon Attack Travel Director. In this pivotal transition time for the AJAA, we are currently building plans to expand and further develop our travel programs to contend to be among the top in the state. Our goal is develop our young student-athletes mentally and physically, and prepare them to be a successful as they can be. This will be done through efficient coordination between players, parents, coaches, and the travel director.
I grew up in Avon and played AJAA throughout my childhood. I played four years of Baseball and Basketball in high school, including being All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-State in Baseball. From there, I graduated from Butler University in 2009 with a degree in Secondary Education. Currently, I am a high school teacher at Avon High School, where I teach Social Studies. I am on staff as a freshman basketball coach and JV baseball coach at the high school. I have a lot invested in Avon, and took this position as a way to help grow this program to be top-level, known state-wide and regionally. Being a high school coach, I would like to build a bridge between the high school program and the youth programs and create a true baseball community here at Avon where development of student-athletes is a top priority. I look forward to this exciting opportunity we have before us.
Corey Ebert
